Method 1

Automatic Map Update

Set your “favorite region” and your vehicle will check automatically for new map availability. You just need to make sure you have good network connection.

SETUP AUTOMATIC UPDATES

WIFI Map Update

To update other regions you just need to connect your in-car navigation system to the Wi-Fi and check if an updated map is available.

Simply enter your car’s model and year to get the latest map updates.

Once you’re done with the following procedure, your Nissan will check for new maps every 7 days and will alert you when a new one is available in a pop-up window.

Step 1

 

Select ‘Info’ from your in-car screen.

Then select 'System Information'.

Now select 'Map Update'.

And select 'Map Update Settings'.

Now simply select a favourite region.

Confirm your selection from the pop-up displayed on the screen. If a new map is found, a message will appear.

To use this method, you’ll need to have your car next to a Wifi hotspot or use your smartphone’s connection.

Step 1

 

Simply select ‘Info’ on your in-car screen, then select ‘System Information’ and choose ‘Map Update.’

Select “Update via Wi-Fi.

Select the areas you want to update. If a map is still up to date, the message ‘The current map version is the latest available’ will be displayed.

If a map needs updating, available updates for the areas you select are displayed. Just choose ‘Yes’ to update.
